Revelation 21:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, write: for these words are true and faithful.
A week ago this Saturday night I had a wonderful dream!
I awoke very happy, energized and excited! Let me explain:
Dream: Mark (my husband) and I were walking into Grace Fellowship Church, which is located directly across from the public library in Atoka. We were there for the purpose of filling The Little Free Pantry with fresh provisions. We entered the building and I walked back to the kitchen/fellowship hall area. Then I stopped, astounded! Looking around I began to say “Wow! Look at this! Beautiful!” The church had undergone a total building makeover! It was sparkling clean and white. All the old blue and gold carpet had been removed and in its place was wonderful white tile. And all the furnishings were gone; everything removed. What was then visible was the beauty of the church. The old concrete block walls were now textured and painted. The small rooms were enlarged by at least 100%. It was outstanding.
I ran into the sanctuary where Mark was and continued in astonishment. “Mark, look at how beautiful this church has become. We must tell Pastor Larry. Then I heard the voice of one of the church members: Mary Thomas. She was directing the workmen what to do next. End of dream.
Upon awaking, I wrote the dream down and then began to ask the Holy Spirit for interpretation, as is my habit. I felt immediately the Spirit impress on my heart that we are in a season of church renewal. The Lord is the one that makes all things new and His desire is for His Church to be rid of all the old and be readied for the new. It was significant that all the old furnishings and trappings were gone. This will be a requirement that Wind of The Spirit blow upon the old wineskins making them new wineskins so they are able to contain the New Wine. This new move of The Lord will not necessarily be recognized by the clergy but by the lay people. But everyone who will accept the “new building” will be eligible to participate. Mary Thomas is a friend of mine that is very gifted in leading people into the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It was her voice I heard speaking in the dream. Her voice is symbolic in the dream indicating that this “make-over” will be completely directed by the Holy Spirit. Man will not initiate it, the Spirit will be the One who leads the way. We will just have to walk into it!
In addition, the dream location is equally important. The church building we were in houses “Grace Fellowship.” The message indicated that there is a make over due to the church’s understanding of “grace.” For the last 20 years there has been a licentiousness attached to the biblical understanding of grace that has brought damage. The Lord is going to clean up the mess and set righteousness in its rightful place.
I hope as you read, great anticipation starts building in your soul. Start expecting the Lord to do a mighty work in the church and join your prayers with His! Amen!!
