Our Father in heaven is a covenant keeping Deity, the only covenant keeping Deity. The one and only true God, YHWH, demands that those that worship Him be like Him. In the next few articles to be posted, we will examine some characteristics of our Father that we must enjoin ourselves to and adhere to for our own well being and the well being of our families and nation. Covenant keeping is important and failure to keep covenant disastrous, especially when examined in the light of our relationship with Israel.
Genesis, Chapter 12, Verses 1-2, clearly state YHWH’s intentions to bless Abraham and his descendants: “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Our Eternal Father keeps his word. Nations around the world will rise and fall based upon their relationship to His Chosen People, Israel. So, how has that covenant impacted the United States of America?
There are have been several books written on the not-so-coincidental disasters that have befallen America do to our administrations preoccupation with trying to force Israel to give “land for peace.” All the details surrounding those events easily fill the pages of books. The intent of this article is to summarize these occurrences, making the point that dark days are upon us and in front of us. Prepare wisely. (Recommended reading: The End Of America, by John Price, As America Has Done Unto Israel, by John McTernan, Eye to Eye-Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel, by William Koenig)
As the United States has stood with Israel, the United States has been blessed, as she has turned from Israel we have encountered serious national disasters. Consider, the dividing of the land of Israel was not a point of interest for the Administrations of Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, ford, Carter or Reagan. The problems began with George H.W. Bush, #41:
FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD IS NEAR UPON ALL THE HEATHEN: AS THOU HAST DONE, IT SHALL BE DONE UNTO THEE: THY REWARD SHALL RETURN UPON THINE OWN HEAD. OBADIAH 1:15

1991 31 October – The Next Day – The Perfect Storm
“A very rare huge storm starting in the north Atlantic, moving east to west (wrong direction for storms to move – although in the Bible, the Holy Spirit and history move east to west). This storm was so unusual and contrary to “mother nature” it was immortalized by the book The Perfect Storm by Sebastian Junger and later a popular movie. Amazon says of the book The Perfect Storm, “Meteorologists called the storm that hit North America’s eastern seaboard in October 1991 a “perfect storm” because of the rare combination of factors that created it. For everyone else, it was perfect hell.
Interestingly, one of the first places The Perfect Storm hit was Kennebunkport, Maine. Waves over 30 foot demolished the home of President George H.W. Bush, the instigator of the Oslo Accord.”*
2. The Madrid Peace Conference Part II
1992 23 August
The Madrid Conference was not successful the first time around, so a year later President Bush tried it again. Evidently, God’s opinion of a “land for peace” deal had not changed in the preceding 12 months, and disaster struck again…on the very same day.

The perverse Oslo proposition was simple: give us your land and we’ll stop killing you.

12. 2005 23 August America Pressures Israel To Give Up The Gaza Strip
Gush Katif, Gaza, was paradise. And it was destroyed by those who took it over. Israel completed the evacuation of the Gaza Strip and gave it to the Palestinians. The Gaza Strip evacuation came directly from President Bush’s “Roadmap to Peace.” Hurricane Katrina formed on the same, exact day that the last settlers were evacuated
2005 23 August – the Same Day – Tropical Storm Katrina appears
August 23, a small insignificant tropical storm slowly appeared in the Atlantic below the Bahamas named Katrina. From her beginning meteorologists stated the U.S. had nothing to fear. Katrina packed little punch, plus the computer forecasts kept Katrina calmly corralled in the Atlantic. Defying the computer models, Katrina turned south-east, scraped the south tip of Florida and then with the vengeance of a runaway freight train Katrina took an unexpected turn into the warm Gulf Coast. Meteorologists tracking Katrina’s unusual path labeled Katrina one of history’s most bizarre hurricanes.* Wikkipedia
2005 29 August – Hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans
Katrina raced directly toward New Orleans, harnessing deadly strength every moment. Literally recording wind strength “off the scale” On Monday, August 29, the nation watched in horror as deadly Katrina slammed and slaughtered the fragile Gulf Coast. Destructive Katrina left beautiful homes as piles of worthless rubbish. Deadly Katrina tossed bodies like litter along the highway. When Katrina ended her deadly mission America suffered the worst disaster in her storied history. The thousands of homes destroyed, mirrored the bulldozers destroying the Jewish homes in the Gaza Strip. The thousands and thousands of United States citizens being evacuated from their land were the reverse image of the Jewish people crying and literally begging to stay in their land. America found no mercy for the Jewish people and received no mercy.*
The God of Israel is neither slumbering nor sleeping, America should remember that.
2006- There were no hurricanes that hit the United States this year. Likewise there were not natural disasters such as wildfires or earthquakes. To be noted is that the US administration made no demands on Israel to give away “land for peace.”
13. Bush #43 pushes for peace
2007- Early in January of this year, then Sec. of State Condoleezza Rice arrives in Jerusalem to push for Pres. Bush’s “two state solution.” “Coincidentally,” the same day the Secretary arrived in the Holy Land a massive ice storm descended on the US from Maine to Texas, with Oklahoma being declared a state of emergency. The “rare” storm lasted the same length of time that the “peace talks,” pushed by the US administration were convened in Israel. By the time they were over, the ice had spread all the way to California damaging the orange groves . Seventy-five percent of the orange crop failed due to the storm’s voracity. Interestingly, on the Secretary’s way back to the US, she stopped off in Germany to push the European Union to support the “land for peace “ agenda. Upon landing a massive winter storm abruptly descended on Germany with highly unusual 118 mile an hour winds, the storm left forty-one dead. *
14.2007- February, The Quartet
Consisting of US, Russia, the EU and United Kingdom convened to further pressure Israel to give away her land. As they were meeting, the state of Florida was hit with the second deadliest series of tornadoes in its history.*
2008- The Bush Administration had planned on announcing major concessions from then Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. The headlines would be monumental, but before our President could declare victory over an obstinate Israel, the Bell, opening trading on Wall Street, refused to ring. The New York Stock Exchange upstaged Pres. Bush. Lehman Brothers had declared bankruptcy, Merrill Lynch was bought out and AIG Insurance was asking for $85 BILLION in a rescue package. On September 29, 2008, the Dow fell 777 points, the largest ever drop in American History. Instead of the world wide news agencies being consumed with Israel’s willingness to give up land, they were all consumed with the crashing economic systems of the nations.*
15. President Obama’s turn.
2009-May 18- Now President Barack Hussein Obama meets for a two hour meeting with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Great pressure was applied to the Prime Minister to agree to a two state solution, with Israel giving up “land for peace.” The pressure has only intensified since Barack Hussein Obama moved into the White House. He was the first to call for Israel to divide Jerusalem and retreat to the pre -1967 borders. What has been the result to Americans:
- Continued tax payer bailouts and trillion dollar stimulus packages
- Unprecedented levels of unemployment
- State and local governments in bankruptcy
- Personal retirement accounts greatly diminished
- US. Federal Government debt climbs to over $17 Trillion
- China openly promotes a new reserve currency other that the dollar. *

Over a hundred people were treated at the local emergency room and dozens of houses were decimated. The quake was felt over 120 miles away, estimated economic loss is over one billion.
16.UN Raises PA Flag
2015, September 30—The Palestinian flag for the first time was raised at the United Nations following an address delivered by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to the UN General Assembly.
Al Jazeera News--
The flag was raised in the rose garden at 1:00pm local time (6:00pm GMT) on Wednesday as a large crowd of diplomats and reporters watched on.
Speaking to the crowd, Abbas dedicated the ceremony to "the martyrs, the prisoners and the wounded, and to those who gave their lives while trying to raise this flag".
Hundreds of Palestinians assembled in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, where they watched the flag-raising on a large screen set up in Yasser Arafat Square.* (Al-Jazeera News)
At the same time the Palestinian flag was being hoisted, Hurricane Joaquin had rapidly formed in the south Atlantic and was pushing toward Bermuda. Joaquin means: “Raised by Yaweh.” Truly the Lord has His way in the affairs of men.
Category 4 hurricane (SSHWS)
Duration September 28 – October 8
Peak intensity 155 mph (250 km/h) (1-min) 931 mbar (hPa)
Main article: Hurricane Joaquin
Early on September 28, the NHC classified a disturbance as Tropical Depression Eleven about 405 mi (650 km) southwest of Bermuda, based on the improved circulation on satellite imagery. Initially, the agency did not predict strengthening beyond tropical depression status, due to expected strong wind shear; some computer models anticipated a quick dissipation to the depression. However, the thunderstorms increased and organized around the center as the wind shear decreased. As a result, the NHC upgraded the depression to Tropical Storm Joaquin early on September 29. The storm initially moved generally to the west or southwest, steered by a high pressure area to the north. The cloud pattern became better organized as Joaquin moved toward the Bahamas. On September 30, the storm intensified further into a hurricane, as reported by the Hurricane Hunters. Later that day, the storm achieved Category 2 strength, and continued to intensify into a Category 3 storm later that night. Early the next morning, Joaquin further intensified into a Category 4 storm on the Saffir-Simpson scale. Joaquin later weakened as it passed through the Bahamas. However re-curving to the northeast caused Joaquin to re-intensify to a Category 4 major hurricane. Winds were reported at 155 mph, just below Category 5 strength, making it the strongest since Hurricane Igor in 2010. After reaching peak intensity, Joaquin began to rapidly weaken as it approached Bermuda, lashing the island with tropical storm and hurricane conditions. After that, Joaquin began turning east, while keeping hurricane strength. On October 7, Joaquin weakened to a tropical storm, and the system was declared extratropical the next day.
e warnings were hoisted across most of the Bahamas as the hurricane threatened the country. Battering the nation's southern islands for over two days, Joaquin caused extensive devastation, most notably on Acklins, Crooked Island, Long Island, Rum Cay, and San Salvador Island. Severe storm surge inundated many communities, trapping hundreds of people in their homes; flooding persisted for days after the hurricane's departure. Prolonged, intense winds brought down trees and powerlines, and unroofed homes throughout the affected region. As airstrips were submerged and heavily damaged, relief workers were limited in their ability to quickly help affected residents. Joaquin was one of the strongest storms on record to affect the nation. Offshore, the American cargo ship El Faro and her 33 crew members were lost to the hurricane.
Coastal flooding also impacted the nearby Turks and Caicos, washing out roadways, compromising seawalls, and damaging homes. Strong winds and heavy rainfall caused some property damage in eastern Cuba. One fisherman died when heavy seas capsized a small boat along the coast of Haiti. Storm tides resulted in severe flooding in several of Haiti's departments, forcing families from their homes and destroying crops. The weakening hurricane passed just west of Bermuda on October 4, attended by strong winds that cut power to 15,000 electric subscribers. Damage on Bermuda was minor. Although Joaquin steered clear of the mainland United States, another large storm system over the southeastern states drew tremendous moisture from the hurricane, resulting in nearly unprecedented flooding in South Carolina.*
Connecting the dots is not always comfortable. But, on the other hand, the more we examine current events in light of the Word of God, we see ourselves “smack dab” in the middle of end times prophecy, moving swiftly towards the end of this age. The Lord is not mocked, whatsoever a man (or nation) sows that shall he reap. Please stay prayerful and alert. We must be as the sons of Issachar that rightly discerned the times. Press into Jesus.
